Harley Davidson first introduced the V-Twin inlet over exhaust engine in 1907 as a prototype. However this engine was first used commercially in 1909. These engines were commonly known as ‘F Heads’ because of the shape of the cylinder. The Harley F head models were build from 1909 till 1929.
This particular model was the Hot Rod of his time, the ‘FDCA’ is a 1200cc magneto model and the fasted Harley you could buy at that time.
Beautiful patina on this Motorcycles and a perfect example to leave in this state and restore only technically.
