Harley Davidson first introduced the V-Twin inlet over exhaust engine in 1907 as a prototype. However this engine was first used commercially in 1909. These engines were commonly known as ‘F Heads’ because of the shape of the cylinder. The Harley F head models were build from 1909 till 1929.
This F head is a 1920 T model. Has German registration but hasn’t run in few years. Nice project with little work.
